JOB OVERVIEW

At Kent College, Canterbury, we are seeking to appoint a confident, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to offer Drama across our Senior School from September 2024. It would be desirable for the candidate to deliver GCSE Drama and have some experience of teaching across all Key Stages, however newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will hold a good degree in Drama or a closely related discipline, with a passion for teaching and a keen interest in the subject. 

A Teacher of Drama at Kent College will deliver high-quality lessons whilst successfully nurturing and inspiring our students. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.

The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 pupils, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day.
