Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 41 weeks per year, shift work 5 days Mon to Sunday

Salary: £14,618 per annum

A hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter / Store keeper is required to join our friendly Caterning team, to support the Kitchen and Front of House teams with the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, as well as the recieving and storing deliveries on a daily basis.

Kitchen Porter / Store Keeper - Job Description



  • 40 hours per week, 41 weeks per year ,
  • 5 days, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis,  
  • 8 hour shifts between 7.00am and 8.00 pm

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure all cleaning jobs are carried out efficiently and as quickly as possible
  • Collect and wash up pots and pans
  • Clean food preperation areas and equipment
  • Keep floors and walls clean in all area
  • Complete cleaning tasks daily instructed by the head chef
  • Ensure that all legal requirements pertaining to storage of chemicals and food is adhered to
  • Be aware of health and safety and risk assessment and ensure these are followed and recommendations are implemented quickly
  • Help with deliveries on a daily basis and store correctly
  • Keep all invoices and records of stock efficiently
  • Assist all stocktakes guided by the head chef
  • Report all concernes that you may have regarding deliverie monitering
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Keep all stores clean ant tidy

  • Experience of  store system and stock rotation
